Mecolam was started in 1982 by our founder Mr. Mathews Paul, after his service in the Indian Air force. Started by supplying insulating components to the electrical engineering industries.

It was our customers well wishing that we had to try other products for them. This introduced us to the Fiberglass material. We began manufacture of fiberglass products for the general electrical industries and then into automobile, defence etc.
